Future Production has equipped every rig newbuild on the Norwegian continental shelf during 2019 and 2020.
The Norwegian continental shelf (NCS) has seen five harsh environment rig newbuilds delivered for operation during 2019 and 2020.
These five rigs are:
– West Bollsta
– West Mira
– Deepsea Nordkapp
– Deepsea Yantai
– Transocean Norge
With the latest West Bollsta deliveries Future Production has now equipped all five of them.
– In late 2018 we decided to try to win orders for all the coming newbuilds set to bevdeployed on the NCS over the next two years. With the latest West Bollsta deliveries we have now managed to succeed and reach our goal. As a company this is a milestone for us, says Future Production Sales Manager Richard Loland.
Previous Future Production deliveries to the other rigs on the list include a Bottomhole Assembly Hanger to Deepsea Yantai and a Riser Running Sleeve, Riser Stacking System and improved XMT Handling System deliveries to West Mira.
– We always try to find the specific design solutions that fit each individual rig the most. We have gained significant experience from these previous deliveries, Loland says.
